We keep a deliberately short list of pieces and we do not pad it out. Nothing is listed until we have handled it, and nothing stays listed once it stops being something we would buy ourselves.
We buy in small quantities and test before listing. Where a material matters we name it plainly, because 'soft' and 'generous' are not information you can act on.
Descriptions are written from the item rather than from a supplier's sheet, so drawbacks are included alongside the good parts. A listing that only lists strengths is an advertisement.
We are a Hong Kong registered company selling online, with orders packed and dispatched by us. Our registered details and contact address are listed in the footer of every page.
Stock is bought in small runs and checked before it is listed: materials noted from the label and from handling, and a note made of anything a buyer would want to know but a supplier would leave out. Where a supplier cannot tell us the composition, the item does not go up until we have checked it ourselves. If a material cannot be confirmed, the listing waits.
We do not drop-ship: what the page says is in stock is stock we hold, so a dispatch date does not depend on a third party's warehouse. Nothing on the site is a stock image licensed from a catalogue, which is why the photography is plain and consistent.
Our company name, registered address and contact email appear in the footer on every page of the site, so you never have to hunt for who you are buying from. If you need them in a different format for a bank or an accountant, ask and we will send them.
Confirmation and dispatch emails come from this site's own address and include the order number. If a message asks for card details or a transfer to a personal account, it is not from us — forward it and we will confirm.
Stock comes from small makers and short production runs rather than from a single wholesaler's catalogue. When a run finishes it usually does not return, which is why a listing disappears instead of becoming a backorder.
Listings come and go with the stock rather than with a marketing calendar. New pieces appear when a run arrives and leave when it sells through, and the counts stated on this site are kept in step with the live catalogue rather than left at last season's figure.
